Get Ahead in Life Fast
Переглядів 1,4 тис.Рік тому
Hello everyone! I wanted to share some tips and tricks to get ahead in life! If you feel stuck or that you are just surviving instead of actually consciously living, there might be something in this video for you. I have been going through a substantial transitioning stage for the past 3 years. Going from running a business to being a full-time college student, moving countries, and then becomi...
Living in the LEAST sunny place in the world - Faroe Islands
Переглядів 21 тис.Рік тому
Hello everyone! Welcome to my very first youtube video about life in the Faroe Islands. I have been wanting to start and staying consistent with UA-cam for many many years. Now, I finally started, even if I am the busiest I have ever been. Being on maternity leave and having two children under two is quite hectic, but it can also get isolating and lonely. Since we moved to Vestmanna 1,5 years a...

Hello friends! Just a short video of the town Gásadalur in Faroe Islands. This is the first time in all my 24 years I have been living in Faroe Islands that I am in Gásadalur. It is as beautiful as it looks! But then again, I love every bit of Faroe Islands :) Hope you enjoy it. Make sure to give this video a thumbs up and SUBSCRIBE xo Love MonaSolo ♥ Follow me here: ♥ Website: www.monasolo.com...
i live here too
Have being there with my daughter this february....its beautifull....greetings from Germany
enjoying your content. Brene Brown also does a nice job talking about courage and vulnerability. University of Penn has a nice certificate program in positive psychology. You might find it interesting. As a side note my 13 year old son and I are visiting Faroe Islands late July. Really looking forward to it.
Mona, are there any Real Jobs for foreigners?
Its amazingly beautiful. I hope it has regulations in place to keep it from being overrun by tourists. Community must be incredibly strong there. I bet everyone knows each other, goes to church, etc. That's an incredible place to raise a child just don't let them get addicted to smart phones and social media.
can you maybe make a video on how to find a job in the faroes as a non-nordic person? or job opportunities there and where to apply. thanks
i really wish i can live and work in the faroes

Old Avalon.
Gracias por compartir 😊
Thanks for sharing, it’s a great video. But I was a little confused at the end; I was a little doubtful if you would show us more about life in Faroe Islands, or about your studies in psychology, or about motherhood, In any case I hope to see more content soon Greet from Mexico 😊
whats the story behind those giant footsteps....
I wanna visit one day!
I heard the Faroe islands were originally founded by a yoga pants wearing Korean peoples, called the "Namasteans"
I am seriously thinking about going to Faroe Islands to do my PhD just because im so intrigued by this country (and Iceland) - any chance you could show the University in Torshavn in a future video ? :D Greetings from Vienna, Austria
Your inspired advice was very timely for me. Also watching your other videos and hearing your "philosopy" of fear courage, you really speak from experience, trial and error, etc. So many are afraid of failure especially when ones self esteem is measured by what they observe on social media - where most try to appear to be something they think will appeal to an audience, rather than being authentic - facebook, youtube, etc. If we all could just be honest about our experiences, social media would be a blessing. You set a good example.
can you make a video on how much is rent on average and how to find apartments as a foreigner?
Happy New Year. New sub from Canada
What about the labradors are there many labradors?
Hey Mona! Glad to see you back again! I thought I would comment first and before even watching the video! ... I'll edit once done! [EDIT] So now that I have watched this through, I must say that this is fantastic advice! I agree with you that there is a big difference between the 'coaching style of advice' where you sound like a Nike commercial - JUST DO IT! - versus finding your true intent and constructively and systematically working towards your goals, implementing courage and determinism. I am currently in exactly this point with a lot needing change and your videos have always been a source of inspiration! Please keep posting! I remember your older fitness videos and watched them avidly back then as well. It is nice to see you evolving :) On another note... I would have never guessed that English is your 3rd language! Also, to answer, I am in Ottawa but have always wanted to go to the Faroe Islands as it is such a beautiful place in the world! I'll end with saying that I hope to achieve my goal of only having one fear - The fear of missing one of your videos! LOL Take care and see you in the next one! [/EDIT]
❤💪🏻
Looks like heaven .... these places will be the last sanctuarys on earth in the near future
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice to see a Faroese person living in the faroes and thankyou for letting people see as I've always wanted to go the Faroe Islands as it is a beautiful place and in a way a well kept secret
ja men tað er nokkso keðiligt her tá man býr her mær dámar at flúgva til danmark og eg haldi at eg vil búgva har
We'll be there in 2 weeks! Thanks for the video and info Mona!
But what if it's my home country? I have heard of it!
New to the channel. Loved the video. If it really is the least sunny place in the world then I definitely must move there. Thanks for sharing.
Being a inspirational woman is hardest things you got. well done and good luck for you future
This isn't about the Faroes.
I'm sorry but the title is hugely misleading. I came here to find out about what it's like to live on Faroe Islands, but this video is mostly about what you've been doing before you moved there.
Northern norway has no sun for6 months tho abit less sunny id say
Thank you for sharing with us! Please be encouraged to continue making videos!
Wise and useful thoughts! Takk fyri! :)
The Faroes are an amazing place and I am contemplating moving there.
Are you Faroese or Danish?
Faroese :)
Great! Waiting for more videos about Faroe Islands.
More to come!
Okay i just got back from the Faroe Islands and it is incredible.
Happy you liked it!
Completely agree, i think maybe some people respond better to "you are perfect as you are" and actually are motivated by that. Though i also think many (myself included) are more motivated by aknowledging that we are not satisfied with who we are or what we are doing, to then continually work on lessening our vices and promoting our virtues, which in itself can be a very fulfilling journey :)
Yes!! for sure!
Most close place to heaven on earth
YES
Thank you so much for this amazing video and welcome to UA-cam! Faroe Islands is such an amazing place. It's one of a handful of places I'd especially like to call home. Others on that list are Svalbard, Jan Mayen, and the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic. I wish you the best of luck with UA-cam. I think you'll do well if you're passionate about it. One thing life has taught me in my nearly 40 years of being on this Earth is that if you're passionate about something, you'll always find at least a little time for it no matter how busy you are, but if you've lost that spark and drive, you'll always be too busy for it, no matter how much free time you have. How would you describe the Faroe Islands climate? I've heard "continental maritime" used as a descriptor before. A four seasons climate with cool summers. Where I live the seasons can blend into one another, just a few days ago, on May 2, we had snowfall but in April we had a day that somehow soared to 30 degrees (it's also been almost minus-20 in April before).
